My husband and I sold our house and were dreading renting an apartment again while we figured out where we wanted to go and we promised it would only be a year because we know what apartment living is like and we knew we wouldn’t be able to handle it however...if they had wood floors, and a little bit more storage closets we would live her forever and forget about buying another house. The office staff is probably the nicest people I have met in a long time...truly nice, genuine, and not like the rest...we have looked at a lot of apts and you either get the fake smiles and “everything is wonderful at our apts” or you get the ones that it is just my job & I leave at 5 so just hurry up...the staff are wonderful and I can’t say enough about them. We wanted a place that was nice inside and out, clean, quite, a nice view, good lay out, enough room, a nice porch, and even the stuff you don’t think about...light fixtures, ceiling fans, arches, upgraded doors, cabinets, pretty door knobs...it makes a huge difference. I am proud to have friends over b/c I don’t hear my neighbors ever actually...which I guess could be weird. The neighbors we do have are so nice and just a different class of people; we have even had a couple of them over for dinner just b/c they are so nice in passing. My husband and I said we would pay extra to make sure there aren’t clunker cars, trash everywhere, and not to have teenagers partying at all hours of the night...but to be honest we haven’t had to pay that much extra. The only downfall is I wish it had more storage coming from a house and I wish it had wood floors...other than that...it’s perfect.

I haven't lived in apartment for 20 years and was very hesitant to do so again. I was more than pleasantly surprised when I visited Avington Park and even more pleased after I moved in! I love that the quality of the apartment is above average and the decor is top notch. The fact that the complex is small and the agents, maintenance and on-site police officer know everyone by name is a definite perk! In general, the people renting at this complex are older, wiser and more respectful of others! I've never had a problem with noise or trash or "inappropriate behavior". Perfect for adults, but suitable for children too. I disagree with the "paper thin walls" comment from a previous poster. I never hear my neighbors and I doubt they ever hear me!

What seperates this apt. complex from the 20 others in this area is their maintenance team. Despite the water breaks, leaks, and paper-thin walls, anything that has gone wrong, they've been there within 10 mins. Even at 1am in the morning, they respond, are always nice, and tremendously effective. Manager is good and does well in crisis mode, and leasing agents were great. However, everyone we knew is now gone, hopefully, the same quality of service and making the person feel llike they matter will still exist. Great location and has a police officer living in complex - also great. Hopefully, the new leasing team will take notice from the maintenance people and set this property aside from the rest!

Comfortable and affordable. We are retired and consider ourselves 'Irresponsible Adults'. We can do this here because all our worries are taken care of by the responsive staff.

First, I would tell them about the features that make the apartment unique. Starting with the dark cabinets, the ceiling fans in the living room and in the bedroom. I would tell them about the wood blinds and open floor plan. Finally, my most favorite would be the fact that you paint one wall in a color of our choosing.

wonderful place to live

My husband and I have been renters since we married 10 years ago. Avington Park is, without a doubt, the best place we have lived. The maintenance crew, office staff, and management are who make the difference. I voiced a few concerns to the office team and by the next day each one had been addressed. I recently learned that of all the surrounding apartments (I believe there are 5), only the Manager's of Avington Park attend the monthly Crime Watch meeting with Fort Worth Police Department. So on top of the "on site" Police officer, Avington Park's employees are on a first name basis with the local Officers. I'm certain this is the reason why this community feels so safe. Property rules are enforced; making for a clean and pleasant home environment to live. The views are wonderful; floor plans are unique; staff is excellent; neighbors are friendly; grounds are well maintained. You will be hard pressed to find a better run community.

I have lived in several apartments since college but none as nice as Avington Park. I have never lived alone & my main concern when looking for an apartment was the safety. Avington Park has never felt unsafe or not secure! The complex is very quiet for the most part and very well kept. Overall this has been a great place to live!
